Health Awareness (No one is born to die without destiny choice)

Health is the over all condition of an organism at a given time. Thinking of people, health consists of a complete state of physical, social, and mental well being. Health permits people to lead an individually, socially and economically productive life.
Health awareness is the basic concept of living a healthy life that makes sure that you do not get sick and are able to live an optimal life style.
» It can provide every one freedom from all diseases
» It can provide sound mental and physical state to live optimal life.
» It helps you choose your health care options.
» According to the World Health Organization (WHO) report, it is a fundamental human right
Health awareness is a comprehensive understanding of health. Every normal person need to know this to take care of their “SELF”. This responsibility also extends to the families, societies, countries and the world.
It is a very important aspect of our lives. Introductory health care and taking care of yourself is taught in schools also, but no one stresses the implication of these rules when children are growing up except parents. Parents tell children what to do and how to do but its importance and constant practice for long term health care is not the focus at all.

Organ Donation Awareness (Your lovable can even live after their demise)

Organ transplantation is the most preferred treatment modality for end-stage organ disease and organ failures. Many organs such as cornea, kidney, and liver are commonly transplanted to human recipients. However, the need for the transplants is high and the gap between organs available for transplantation and the number of patients waiting for a transplant is widening globally. Similar to the developed countries, a situation exists in India where there is a chronic shortage of organs available for transplantation. This shortage is primarily attributed to a limited number of organ donations in our country. A study from India, done in the last decade has shown that less than 50% were willing to consider organ donation. The patients on palliative care can serve as source of organs and tissues. However, the systems and pre-requisites for successful organ donation among them are lacking.

The prerequisites for the success of a transplantation program include awareness, positive attitude of the public toward organ donation and consent by relatives for organ donation in the event of brain death. Lack of knowledge and understanding about organ donations, religious attitudes, and superstitious beliefs have generated fear and mistrust in the minds of the common man and, especially, the terminally ill patients. Studies have been done on Medical and Nursing students towards their perceptions and attitudes about organ donation and to enhance their motivation towards the same.

Aim:
To assess the perceptions and attitudes of the people towards organ donation in India, so that more and more Doners come forward and take pledge to donate there organ after there demises. Which in turn can give life to someone.

Social responsibility awareness (Every individual’s step is going to make a global change)

Individual Social Responsibility is a moral belief where we as individuals, have a responsibility toward society. Being "socially responsible" is about all individuals behaving ethically and sensitively towards social, economic, and environmental issues. It is about being accountable for our actions and being conscious of the impact your actions have on others, our communities, and the environment.

By taking an active participation in resolving some of the issues, we as individuals should all strive to set good examples by applying and adhering to socially responsible practices, such as improving the quality of lives for individuals and their families, volunteer energy and time towards improving and benefiting society.

Personal responsibility includes being responsible for your own actions and well-being. In relation to social roles each person has their own way of doing things while living their own life. The concept is similar for businesses and organizations that work to provide opportunities for others. They have a responsibility in providing products, goods, and services that are fair while serving a purpose. In either scenario, consequences are suffered when failing to do what is right. In many cases, when you neglect to be responsible, others may be affected in ways you may not have anticipated.

Responsibility is something most people are taught from an early age. As you get older you take what you learn and use it to your advantage to help you sustain a healthy way of living. This includes taking care of yourself from the inside out while managing emotions and other needs. Sometimes a consequence suffered from a previous event can make it more difficult for an individual to assume personal responsibility on a social scale. Keeping a sound mind and treating others with respect are things you continue to do throughout your life.

When you do something wrong a consequence will follow as this is a part of human nature. But, there are actions that can be avoided yet people will do them anyway knowing potential consequences. For instance, youth are taught to stay away from drugs and illegal substances because they can harm the body and even lead to death. Unfortunately, youth are taught consequences of using drugs beforehand and many still turn around and engage using them anyway. Consequences suffered may be worse than originally thought, or an individual may think nothing will happen to them.

It seems simple enough to help yourself by doing health activities and staying away from things that are bad for you. But, some feel being responsible in this nature is boring and want some excitement in their lives. You can engage in interesting things worthwhile without harming yourself or going against personal ethics. For some, it may not be enough to do the right thing every day and others may not see a point in doing so. Your actions speak louder than words and you may not realize who looks to you for support or as a role model. Unfortunately, many do not realize how their actions can affect others whether they meant to be positive or negative

Indian Cultural & moral Values programmes (Revoking the best culture in world)

Family is the longest surviving institution of India irrespective of the ages, transformations, religious and political views. Loyalty, integrity and unity are the three pillars upon which Indian families & Indian Culture stand. From family, Indians learn the first letters of collectivism and sacrificing individualism for collective interest. Extended family and kinship are two key aspect of Indian family system.

In some parts of India, you will find patriarchal families while in southern India you can find mother-centric families and kinship. Historically, family in India means joint family consisting of grandparents, parents and their offspring. They all leave in the same household, share the common income, eat the food that is cooked for all members and share the same religious values and faith. Though, joint family system is losing its importance with the growth of materialistic values, still you can find this system in most of the parts of rural India.

In general, the male child is given more importance compared to his female counterpart. This is due to the reason that traditionally men are the bread earners and women are the house makers in an Indian family. In a traditional Indian joint family, though the decisions are taken collectively after proper discussion among the elders, the words of the head of the family are final. In an Indian family, child rearing is permissive in most of the cases. The children are not allowed to be independent, take their own decision and self-sufficient before they become completely adult. However, utmost care is taken to improve the personality of the child in a positive manner by all elders of the family. In a typical Indian family boundary line, adolescence is the most difficult time for a person. He/she wants liberty and emancipation while the whole system denies it. Arrange marriage is more or less a rule in most parts of India even in 21st century.According to us Indian Culture is the best in the world , For us India comes first Always and Every time.
